Are you a parent of a Year 11 student aiming to elevate their Maths grade from 3-5 to a 7+? Our comprehensive Maths Foundations course is designed to help your child achieve academic excellence. This small group, weekly session is led by a qualified Maths teacher dedicated to unlocking each student's potential.
Course Details:
- When: Starts September 10th
- Time: 4-5pm (1 hour)
- Duration: Weekly sessions, ongoing throughout the academic year.
- Location: Online in a dedicated space so students can access notes to help with revision
- Group Size: Limited to ensure personalized attention.
- Price: £ 25 per session ( £ 80 a month if paid monthly!)
Who Should Attend
- Students who need that extra push to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be in their Maths GCSEs
- Those who are on track to receiving a grade 3-5 in their GCSEs but are willing to put in the work in order to achieve a grade 7+
- Year 11 students (2024/2025)

Our Maths teacher, Shola, is a dedicated GCSE Maths Teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching Maths at the GCSE level. She's been Head of Year for over 10 years. She is passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities.
She has worked alongside Bettering Youth for a year and has made a significant impact for our students!

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know this course is right for my child?
Many students whom achieve the Grade 3-5 boundaries have similar misconceptions. Our qualified Maths teacher will have an initial assessment with your child and use this to create the framework for her targeted lesson plans.
My child is Year 10, can they join?
We'll be spending from December onwards specifically on exams and therefore, I suggest that your child works with our Year 10 group or with Shola 1:1 in preparation for Year 11.
What time is the course?
4-5pm on Tuesdays beginning September 10th. Term time only
What are the payment options?
You can book on lessons each week at the rate of 25.00, or you could book for a half term and pay 20.00 x8 up front.
