Our comprehensive Maths Foundations course is designed to help your child achieve academic excellence. This small group, weekly session is led by a qualified Maths teacher dedicated to unlocking each student's potential.
Course Details:
- When: Starts September 15th 2025
- Time: 6:30-7:30pm (1 hour)
- Duration: Weekly sessions, ongoing throughout the academic year.
- Location: Online in a dedicated space so students can access notes to help with revision
- Group Size: 8 students

Our Maths teacher, Shola, is a dedicated GCSE Maths Teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching Maths at the GCSE level. She's been Head of Year for over 10 years. She is passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities.
She has worked alongside Bettering Youth for a year and has made a significant impact for our students!

How do I know this course is right for my child?
Many students whom achieve the Grade 3-5 boundaries have similar misconceptions. Our qualified Maths teacher will have an initial assessment with your child and use this to create the framework for her targeted lesson plans.
My child is Year 10, can they join?
Yes! So long as your child is on track to write the foundation Maths paper, Shola is happy to welcome a Year 10 student willing to show up consistently and put in the work.
What time is the course?
6:30-7:30pm on Tuesdays beginning September 15th. Term time only
