Agnes: Maths and Physics Tutor
Agnes is a passionate GCSE Maths and Physics tutor who works to unlock each student's strengths and help them to grow in confidence.
"I have worked with students who need extra support for more than 5 years. I have helped a good number of students to love learning and show significant improvement. One of my students who used to fail in Math is now a university student training to become a Math teacher.
In my experience, working with children who need extra well-being support requires patience, time, and a listening ear to understand the needs of the students. This information helps me to implement the pedagogy and strategies that suit their individual needs."
Agnes is a passionate Mathematics and Physics teacher with more than four years of experience tutoring students preparing for GCSE and A-level examinations.
She intentionally makes her lessons exciting and engaging to help students develop a love for the subjects and always look forward to future lessons.
She integrates ICT learning activities in her lessons to capture the attention and imagination of 21st-century learners.
Agnes is passionate about the mind and how it works. She teaches her students to control their thoughts so that they can work in their favour. To a great deal, this breeds academic success.
Agnes believes that learning is a lifelong process. She is pursuing her Master's Degree in ICT Integration in Education and Instructional Design.
